Job Summary

We are seeking a volunteer dynamic and creative Social Media Specialist to join our marketing team. This role involves developing and implementing engaging social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and foster positive public relations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital communication, possess excellent organisational skills, and be adept at managing multiple platforms to connect with diverse audiences.

Duties

Develop, curate, and schedule compelling content across various social media channels to promote brand awareness and engagement. Monitor social media trends and analyse platform metrics to optimise content performance. Manage online interactions by responding promptly to comments, messages, and reviews in a professional manner. Collaborate with the marketing team to plan campaigns that align with organisational goals. Maintain an up-to-date understanding of social media policies, algorithms, and best practices. Assist in managing public relations efforts through social media outreach and community engagement initiatives. Prepare regular reports on social media performance, including insights and recommendations for improvement.

Skills

Proven experience in social media management and content creation. Strong understanding of public relations principles and how they apply within digital platforms. Excellent written communication skills with an eye for detail and tone. Ability to analyse data using social media analytics tools to inform strategy adjustments. Organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. Creative thinker with a keen eye for visual aesthetics and storytelling. Knowledge of current trends in social media marketing and digital communications.
