Social Media Marketing Executive

Main Purpose of Job:


To lead and execute social media and brand marketing strategies for Pharmacy Mentor and a portfolio of premium pharmacy clients, enhancing digital presence through high-quality content creation, community engagement, and performance analysis.

South Yorkshire, UK (Hybrid - includes remote work, adhoc travel to the Sheffield office, and client visits across the UK)

Main Tasks of Job:



Pharmacy Mentor Brand Marketing



Develop and manage monthly content calendars across key platforms: LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Google Business. Create short-form video content and carousels using Canva and CapCut. Film the Pharmacy Mentor team, office culture, and events to humanise the brand online. Align brand messaging with leadership, especially the CEO, maintaining consistent tone and voice. Use ChatGPT and other AI tools for ideation, copy generation, and content optimisation.

Client Social Media Management



Own social media accounts for 5+ high-value pharmacy clients, creating bespoke strategies per client. Plan and produce engaging video, image, and written content tailored to each brand. Conduct regular visits to client sites to capture video content and strengthen relationships. Monitor and report on campaign performance monthly, providing actionable insights.

Community Management & Scheduling



Manage and grow online communities by engaging with followers, responding to messages and comments promptly. Utilise tools like Sprout Social or Hootsuite for scheduling, monitoring, and reporting. Apply social listening tools to identify trends, customer sentiment, and opportunities for engagement.

Internal Collaboration and Innovation

Work closely with the wider marketing team and leadership to align content with overarching goals. Identify new trends, tools, and techniques to elevate the brand presence. Support internal education on content marketing and best practices.

Driving Licence:



Full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential)

Required Experience and Skills:



Must-Haves:



4+ years of professional social media experience with a proven track record of growing accounts organically. Deep knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Google Business. Strong proficiency in Canva and CapCut (or similar) for content creation and editing. Excellent copywriting and written communication skills. Comfortable directing and filming short-form video content, including on-site. Familiarity with using AI tools like ChatGPT for content ideation and automation. Experience in using social scheduling tools such as Sprout Social (or similar). Familiarity with social listening and community management best practices.

Highly Desirable:



Email marketing experience (e.g., Mailchimp, Hubspot). Background in healthcare, pharmacy, or other regulated industries. Ability to interpret analytics across social and email platforms.

Pay: 25,000.00-28,000.00 per year
