Join our fast-paced startup team as a Social Media & Marketing Manager, playing a dual role in promoting our events and developing our brand. This is a 2-month part-time contract with flexible working hours (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday), with occasional weekend availability for events.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
Create, curate, and manage published content across various social media platforms, ensuring it is engaging and on-brand.
Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and engagement opportunities, responding promptly to comments and messages.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create cohesive marketing campaigns that leverage social media platforms.
Analyse performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of social media initiatives and adjust strategies accordingly.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media management and public relations to ensure the brand remains relevant in a fast-paced digital landscape.
Prepare regular reports on social media performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
Proven experience in social media management, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful campaigns.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
Familiarity with public relations practices and techniques is highly desirable.
Proficiency in using various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn) as well as analytics tools to track performance.
Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
A creative mindset with an eye for design and aesthetics is an advantage.
