Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:



Mission and values: Under the direction of the Head of Talent and Social Value Lead for FSS, support the execution of the organisations social value strategy. Stakeholder Engagement: Identify key stakeholders and collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and community organisations to understand their needs and develop initiatives that address them. Partnerships: Build and expand on established strategic partnerships and identify new opportunities with community organisations, local government, local councils and other relevant entities to leverage resources and expertise for maximum social impact. Impact Assessment: Utilising the Social Value Model and Social Impact best practice measure and evaluate the social impact of our organisation's activities and initiatives. Regularly report on key metrics, progress, and achievements. Project Management: Support with the development and management of social value projects/initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met. Employee Engagement: Work closely with HR and other internal key stakeholders to promote employee engagement in social value activities, including volunteering, skills-based initiatives, and community involvement. Policy and Compliance: Stay informed about relevant regulations, policies, and industry best practices related to social value. Ensure compliance with legal requirements and ethical guidelines. Communication and Advocacy: Support the implementation of communication strategies to raise awareness about our organisation's social value efforts internally and externally. Act as an advocate for social value, both within the organisation and in the broader community. Training and Education: Conduct training sessions and workshops to build awareness and understanding of social value principles and practices among employees and stakeholders. Continuous Improvement: Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of social value initiatives and propose improvements based on insights and feedback. Transfer of Knowledge: In conjunction with the FSS HR Business Partner and Group Talent function, support the implementation, organisation and logistics involved in delivering the training required for our transfer of knowledge targets. This will involve collating completion records, travel organisation, cost reconciliation and arranging training sessions within the UK organisation.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:



Undergraduate degree in relevant discipline Experience of organising events, volunteers or equivalent Previous experience working within or considerable engagement with the education sector; ideally in Northern Ireland

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:



Strong understanding of social value, corporate social responsibility, and sustainable development principles. High level of organisational and administrative capability with emphasis on delivering against strict deadlines and with a high degree of accuracy. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement social impact strategies and initiatives. Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, and evaluation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to measure and evaluate social impact. Knowledge of relevant regulations, policies, and industry standards related to social value and community engagement.
