Responsibilities

Operate and maintain a variety of machining equipment, including lathes, milling machines, and CNC machines. Interpret technical drawings and specifications to produce components accurately. Conduct regular inspections of machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met. Perform routine maintenance on machines to prevent breakdowns and ensure longevity. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist in training new staff on machining techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Machinist or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in operating machining tools and equipment effectively. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Experience in sewing is advantageous but not essential. Previous experience working in a warehouse setting is preferred. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
