Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic retail environment, providing excellent customer service and supporting the daily operations of our Soft Play. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a friendly demeanour, and a passion for helping customers find what they need. Experience with management, leadership, or working with children is advantageous, especially for roles involving childcare or nursery settings. Applicants should be organised, proactive, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store Provide detailed product information and answer customer queries effectively Manage stock levels, including replenishing shelves and organising displays Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately Support management in daily store operations and promotional activities Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and staff Assist with organising activities or programmes related to childcare or early childhood education when applicable Support children's programmes by supervising activities and ensuring safety standards are upheld

Qualifications

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred Management or leadership experience is advantageous Experience with children, childcare, nursery environments, or early childhood education is desirable Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when necessary Organised with excellent time management skills Friendly, approachable manner with a genuine interest in helping others
