Salary: \xc2\xa3110,000 - \xc2\xa3135,000 per annum + pension + benefits
Hybrid working opportunity - 2 days a week in Central London office. (You must be based in the UK)

One of the largest and most reputable global fin-tech organisations, specialising in data and financial risk analytics software, are actively seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead multiple teams as they venture into the realm of Big Data. This Software Engineering Manager is 70% technical / product management and 30% people management responsibilities.
As the Engineering Manager, day-to-day, you will be:
- Guiding and managing a diverse team of over 30 engineers across cross-functional teams.
- Driving product development across various projects forward.
- Running code reviews.
- Collaborating closely with offshore teams.
- Leading the teams in designing a cutting-edge Big Data environment.
- Gathering complex business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Engineering Manager.
- Exposure to leading teams of at least 20 engineers.
- Previous experience working in the finance or banking sectors (preferred but not manadatory).
- A hands-on coding background in either Java, Python, or Scala.
