Software Engineering Manager
\xc2\xa3125-135k + bonus + benefits package
2 days per week in London office
A North American software solutions provider, which collaborates with top-tier investment banks and communication companies such as Whatsapp, is currently looking for a Software Engineering Manager to join their team and lead a software organisation having expanded their European headquarters from 350 employees to 400+ this year alone.
This is a hands-off role but technical experience in the following is expected and a valued asset:
- Java or .Net Core
- Docker or Kubernetes
- Big Data Tools (Hadoop, Kafka, Spark)
- JavaScript, React
- Leading multiple teams of accomplished engineers, supporting and guiding them through interesting and challenging technical problems
- Provide continuous feedback, recognize the strengths and contributions of individuals in your team as well as addressing underperformance
- Carry out regular 1-to-1s with your reports to plan their career road maps
- Be responsible for the development delivery of 5 teams across three different product lines
