Job Overview

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Solar Farm Operatives to support the construction, installation, and maintenance of large-scale solar energy projects in the UK. This role involves manual labour, working outdoors in varying weather conditions, and supporting skilled trades on site.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with the installation of solar panels and mounting systems Manual handling of materials and equipment Cable pulling and basic electrical support (under supervision) Trenching, ground works, and general site preparation Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Following health & safety procedures at all times Supporting supervisors and engineers with daily tasks
Requirements:

Previous construction or labouring experience (preferred) Ability to perform physical work and lift heavy materials Comfortable working outdoors for long periods Strong work ethic and good teamwork skills Basic understanding of site safety CSCS card (or equivalent) - required Full driving licence - beneficial but not essential
Desirable (Not Essential):

Experience in renewable energy or solar projects IPAF / MEWP / First Aid / Manual Handling certificates Basic electrical or mechanical knowledge
