The Role

You'll be responsible for:

Installing and commissioning solar PV and battery storage systems (domestic & commercial). Working closely with the technical team to integrate and test our new inverter range. Conducting site surveys, cable runs, DC/AC terminations, and inverter commissioning. Ensuring all installs meet

MCS

,

NAPIT

, and

BS7671

standards. Maintaining up-to-date electrical qualifications and certifications. Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults in existing systems. Liaising with project managers and clients to ensure high-quality delivery. Completing handover documentation and system verification reports.

Skills & Experience Required

Qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds 2365 or equivalent).

18th Edition Wiring Regulations

MCS accreditation

or experience working within MCS-certified processes. Experience installing

solar PV

battery storage

, and

hybrid inverter systems

. Understanding of

G98/G99

applications and DNO submissions. Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills. Comfortable working on roofs and managing on-site teams where needed. Full UK driving licence.

inverter systems. Knowledge of

, or smart energy management systems. Ability to assist in R&D for product testing and feedback.
