Overview

Northern Solar Ltd are seeking a skilled and dedicated Solar Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of Solar PV Systems and be proficient in the use of both hand and power tools. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment, performing repairs, and conducting regular maintenance checks. The Solar Maintenance Engineer will play a crucial role in maintaining safety standards and optimising equipment performance.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of Solar PV System equipment to ensure optimal performance. Perform repairs on systems as needed. Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively for various maintenance tasks. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues to management. Collaborate with other team members to improve maintenance processes and procedures. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing duties.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Solar Maintenance Engineer or similar role is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively. Basic electrical skills are advantageous for diagnosing electrical issues. Ability to perform manual labour as required by specific tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with team members.

Pay: 31,500.00-35,000.00 per year
