We are seeking a dedicated and skilled roofer to start a Solar panel Instal team. As a Solar Installer, you will play a crucial role in the installation of solar energy systems, contributing to the advancement of renewable energy solutions. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Install solar panels and associated equipment on residential properties.
Conduct site assessments to evaluate installation requirements and ensure optimal system performance.
Utilise power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently during installation processes.
Perform electrical work related to solar installations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Assist in digging trenches for wiring and other necessary groundwork as part of the installation process.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues that arise during installation and maintenance.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
Experience
Proven experience in roofing and solar panel installations.
Demonstrated ability to use power tools and hand tools effectively in various settings.
Strong mechanical knowledge, particularly related to solar technology or similar fields, is preferred.
Previous experience in outdoor physical labour or construction environments is beneficial.
A commitment to safety practices and the ability to work at heights when required.
