The role of Electrical and Solar Panel Engineer will be focusing on testing, inspection, and remedial work, covering both solar PV systems and fixed electrical installations (EICRs). You'll be working across domestic and commercial sites to ensure compliance, safety, and system performance.

What you'll be doing



Conduct electrical testing and inspections on solar PV systems and fixed electrical installations (EICRs), including IV curve tracing and fault-finding Carry out remedial repairs and upgrades to ensure compliance with current regulations Complete accurate service reports and client documentation. Assist with the installation and commissioning of new solar PV and battery systems when required Ensure all work complies with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and MCS standards

What we're looking for



Essential:



Experience working with solar PV systems (especially maintenance and fault diagnosis) Full UK driving licence

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent (Inspection & Testing) MCS accreditation knowledge Experience with G99/G100 applications Battery storage systems Familiarity with field service reporting/test software
