Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Solar Installer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of solar energy systems, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards. This role requires a blend of mechanical and electrical knowledge, with hands-on experience in various tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

Install solar panels on residential and commercial properties, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installations. Conduct site assessments to determine optimal placement and configuration of solar systems. Perform excavation work when necessary to prepare sites for installation. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues that arise during installation processes. Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding project progress and answering any questions they may have. 18th edition would be an advantage

Experience

Previous experience in solar installation or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in using excavators, welding equipment, hand tools, and power tools is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge with a solid understanding of electrical systems is highly advantageous. Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions while maintaining safety protocols. A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and techniques within the renewable energy sector is encouraged.
