The Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Solar PV Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation of solar PV systems on a variety of roofs and ground-mounted structures. You will ensure that installations are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Reporting directly to the?Solar Team Lead, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Solar PV Installer Key responsibilities:
Install solar PV systems on commercial properties, including mounting systems, modules and containment and the running of DC cable.
Conduct site assessments to determine the suitability and optimal placement of solar panels.
Collaborate with the design team to ensure proper layout and integration of the system.
Adhere to all safety protocols and standards during installation.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on existing solar PV systems.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Conduct necessary project safety documentation and inspections.
Provide excellent customer service and address any client concerns or queries.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, products, and best practices.
Requirements:
Relevant qualifications: CSCS card
Proven experience in solar PV installation or a related field.
Valid Full UK driving License
Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Flexibility to travel to different job sites across the UK.
DBS Checks
Desirable:
NPORS Telehandler qualification
IPAF/PASMA certification.
First Aid Qualification and asbestos awareness
Pay:
16.00- per hour
