We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of solar energy systems, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in various outdoor environments.

Job Type: Part - Time, Freelance, Zero Hours Contract

Duties

Install solar panels and associated equipment on residential and commercial properties. Conduct site assessments to determine optimal installation locations. Utilise power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively during installations. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining high-quality standards. Perform routine maintenance checks on installed systems to ensure functionality. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on-site. 8 hour shifts (Day), Monday - Friday This will predominantly be in the Liverpool area, but we also work nationwide, so a willingness to stay away from home a few days a year would be needed.

Experience

Previous experience in solar installation or a related field is preferred but not essential. Strong mechanical knowledge, particularly in electrical systems, is highly advantageous. Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and welding techniques will be beneficial for this role. A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment is essential. Candidates must be physically fit, as the role involves manual labour and working at heights.
