Role Overview

As a Solar PV Installer at Emyra Solar, you will work in a dedicated team of 3 professionals (2 installers + 1 electrician), travelling to installation sites across the UK. Your main responsibility is to safely and efficiently install rooftop solar panel systems on domestic and light commercial properties. All travel, tools, equipment, training, and accommodation (if needed) are covered by the company.

You will be supported by our in-house operations, technical and logistics teams. Projects are well-organised, scheduled in advance, and backed by a friendly, results-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Install solar panels and mounting structures (primarily K2 Systems) on pitched or flat roofs; Assist with mechanical and basic electrical connections (alongside a qualified electrician); Follow layout plans, technical drawings, and health & safety procedures; Maintain professional conduct on customer premises; Complete job checklists and submit photo documentation as required; Travel nationwide with overnight stays (when required - fully funded).
Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential:

Minimum 1 year of experience in solar PV, roofing, or construction; Comfortable working at height (Working at Heights training preferred); Valid UK driving licence (manual); Ability to lift and carry panels and equipment safely; Fluent in English and able to follow instructions and documentation; Right to work in the UK;
Desirable:

CSCS or ECS card; Familiarity with K2 Systems or similar mounting hardware; Experience installing battery storage or EV chargers; Awareness of basic electrical standards (no certification required).
