Job Description

CPSL Group is looking for experienced Solar PV installers/Roofers - who have experience in the industry and are familiar with all the various roof types, solar PV mounting systems, DC cable arrangements and cable installation. Applicants must be competent on a roof and be able to work from ladders and safety harness when required.

Experience:

Solar PV Installation.

Whilst no specific qualifications are required applicants should have experience of both Solar PV and working on construction sites.

There will also be a requirement to assist with other areas of work, as required, though your primary role, and therefore skill requirements will relate to Solar PV installations.

Work sites are across the UK so working away during the week can be required.

The successful candidate will be working as part of an installation team and typical duties will include:

Installation of Solar PV on domestic and commercial roofs. Installing mounting brackets, rails and panels on pitched & flat roofs. Installing cable containment systems, cable tray, basket tray, conduit and trunking. Running DC cables as required
PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Experience in Solar PV installation on domestic and commercial roof types. Must hold current CSCS card Driving license is essential Working at Heights Domestic and Commercial experience Good practical skills in use of hand and power tools Must have H&S awareness Organised and able to follow job details and plan own workload Self-starter, motivated and able to work with little supervision Trustworthy and reliable Takes pride in their work Keen to learn and develop new skills Approachable and a team player IPAF desirable, but not essential
The hours of work: 39 hours per week minimum.

Company vehicle will be provided for business use, also provided are associated tools, workwear and PPE.

Job Type: Permanent (please note that this position is only available on a directly employed status)

Working around the UK Monday- Friday - accommodation, fuel & food allowances provided.

Working at heights training is beneficial but will be provided.
