Regional PV Manager

South & South East

The Role

To manage our dedicated solar PV installers, ensuring nationwide panel installations are completed to the high standard we expect. You'll also oversee solar PV second fixes in areas beyond the reach of our typical geographical coverage for electrical works.

Responsibilities

Management of the PV installation teams, including recruitment, performance management and on-the-job guidance.


Training team members in our installation methods and quality expectations and on new products as required.


Ensuring high standards of health and safety are maintained by the PV installation teams at all times.


Collaborating with our scheduling team as required to ensure our solar PV installations operate effectively and we maintain a productive, motivated workforce.


Attending pre-start meetings.


Providing on-site technical support when required.


Conducting on-site quality audits.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years' solar PV experience


Experienced line manager


In-depth understanding of the wiring systems used in new homes


Strong interpersonal and communication skills, allowing the ability to form a good rapport with colleagues and customers through personal interactions and via email


Professional demeanour and good personal discipline


Strong organisational skills, including the ability to time manage and prioritise effectively


Ability to work well under pressure


Driven to maximise own productivity


Flexible attitude to working hours, including the willingness to make an early start or stay away from home overnight as required
