Salary:

45,000 - 51,000 per year (depending on experience)

About the Role

We're looking for an

Electrical & Solar PV Manager

to take a lead role in managing and overseeing electrical and solar PV projects across domestic and commercial sites.

You'll be responsible for ensuring all installations meet the highest standards of

quality, compliance, and safety

, while supporting teams on the ground to deliver efficient, reliable, and technically excellent work.

The role is primarily office-based but involves

regular site inspections and audits

to ensure the integrity of electrical works and to resolve technical issues when needed.

Key Responsibilities

Technical & Operational Management

Oversee all electrical and solar PV installations across domestic and commercial projects. Ensure compliance with

BS7671

,

MCS

,

Building Regulations

, and internal company procedures. Provide

technical sign-off

and verification of electrical works, certificates, and testing documentation. Develop and maintain

safe systems of work

, risk assessments, and method statements. Support the

design and commissioning

of PV systems (inverter setup, monitoring, and fault diagnosis).

Quality, Compliance & Governance

Conduct

desktop reviews and on-site inspections

to monitor quality and compliance. Ensure all certification and evidence packs meet

audit and funding requirements

(ECO, MCS, PAS). Manage

non-conformances

and implement corrective actions promptly. Maintain governance standards and drive

continuous improvement

in electrical safety and performance.

Customer & Stakeholder Support

Provide

technical support

to internal teams, subcontractors, and customers. Lead on resolving

electrical-related customer issues

and implementing preventative measures.
What We're Looking For

Strong background in

electrical installations

and

solar PV systems

(domestic and/or commercial). Good working knowledge of

industry standards and compliance frameworks

. Hands-on experience with

testing, certification, and system commissioning

. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
