The Role

We are seeking a

Solar PV Support and Design Technician

to provide technical and customer support for our growing client base. This varied role combines customer interaction, system design, and technical problem-solving, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both technology and working with people.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide

telephone-based technical support

to clients, including assistance with inverter apps, system monitoring, and hardware fault queries. Conduct

client handover sessions

, demonstrating system features and ensuring customers are confident using their new solar PV systems.

Advise clients

on the most suitable electrical tariffs to optimise energy savings. Assist with the

design of PV systems

using

OpenSolar

and

PV

SOL (training provided).
Meet customers at our office to provide system overviews and discuss potential installations. Support

stock control

, including preparing and delivering equipment to installation sites. Explore and implement

AI tools

and technologies to improve our daily business operations.
This is a

customer-facing role

, requiring professionalism, confidence, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications:

Essential

- A full driving license

Full UK Driving Licence

Strong IT skills

, including proficiency with Microsoft Office

Interest or experience in AI
