Light Renewables is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as a Solar PV Trainee Roofer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the solar industry. As a trainee roofer, you will learn the skills necessary to install, maintain, and repair solar PV systems on various types of roofs. You will receive hands-on training from experienced professionals and gain valuable experience in the renewable energy field.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the installation of solar PV systems on residential and commercial properties.

- Learn and apply best practices for working safely at heights and using roofing materials.

- Support the maintenance and repair of existing solar PV installations under supervision.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high-quality standards.

- Participate in training sessions and workshops to develop your skills in solar PV installations.

- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies during all phases of work.

- Develop an understanding of solar PV components and their installation.

Qualifications:

- Interest in pursuing a career in the solar energy industry.

- No prior experience required, but some experience in roofing, construction, or related fields is a plus.

- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced team members.

- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.

- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.

- Basic understanding of tools and equipment used in roofing and construction.

- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.

- Valid driver's license preferred, but not essential.
