Technical Lead Executive
to join our team.
Role Overview
As a
Technical Lead Executive
, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of renewable energy projects -- from initial design through to final commissioning. This is a hands-on technical and leadership role ideal for someone with deep knowledge of solar, ASHP, and battery systems.
Key Responsibilities
Manage projects from design to commissioning, including full documentation per
MCS standards
Design and size
Solar PV
,
ASHP
, and
battery systems
(domestic and commercial)
Handle
DNO applications
(G98/G99/G100) and liaise with grid operators
Conduct
site surveys
and assess project feasibility
Ensure compliance with
NAPIT
, MCS, and all regulatory standards
Maintain company and installer certifications
Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery
Create and manage
budgets
, cost estimates, and procurement schedules
Requirements
Proven experience working with
Solar PV
,
ASHPs
, and
Battery Storage Systems
Familiarity with
DNO application processes
and relevant UK energy standards
Experience with MCS, NAPIT, and renewable energy compliance
Proficiency in design tools (e.g., PVSol, heat loss calculators, MCS tools) Strong project management and documentation skills
Full
UK Driving Licence
Ability to work independently in a
fast-paced environment
Desirable Qualifications (Not Essential)
BSc/MSc
in Renewable Energy or Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical)
Certified Electrician
(ECS Card)
Installer certifications from leading UK manufacturers
NVQ Level 2/3 in Solar PV, BESS, or Plumbing/Heat Pumps
CSCS Card
