Role: Solder Technician
Location: Leicester
Hourly Rate: 12.21-13.50ph (DOE)
Sector: Electronic Manufacturing
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Hours: Monday - Friday - 40 hours
Our client seeks a Solder Technician to work on and flow solder machines for various electronic projects for various applications. The Solder Technician will need 1-2 years background soldering to a good level, and assembly of electronic equipment.
Key responsibilities of the Solder Technician
Strong hand soldering skills
Be able to do new and rework PCB Soldering
Inspection / checking of PCB assemblies
Maintenance of equipment according to applicable instructions.
Raise concerns and assist with the investigation of production issues.
Assist with continual improvement activities.
Essential skills:

Recommended Experience / Qualifications
Must have soldering experience to a good level
IPC Trained
Previous experience of working in an Electronics Manufacturing environment.
Previous experience of PCB and Electronic assembly.
IPC 610 experience or qualification (beneficial but not essential).
