The Role
We're looking for an experienced Litigation specialist to join our friendly and growing team. You'll handle a range of commercial disputes and/or other litigation, working both independently and collaboratively to deliver outstanding results for clients.
This role offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to make a real impact, from advising clients and managing complex cases to attending court hearings and contributing to the firm's continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a varied caseload of litigation matters from inception to resolution
Provide clear, pragmatic legal advice to clients
Draft pleadings, witness statements, and other legal documents
Attend court hearings and conduct advocacy where appropriate [alternatively assist barristers at hearings]
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners
Work proactively and collaboratively within a supportive team environment
About You
Our ideal candidate will:
Prefer a 'small firm' collegiate environment (rather than the approach / atmosphere of larger practices)
Have approximately 7-10 years of relevant post-qualification experience, ideally within Commercial Litigation (knowledge of Personal Injury or Family law is a plus)
Be confident working independently and as part of a team
Be an attentive listener, detail-oriented, and capable of managing client interactions with professionalism and empathy
Demonstrate creative problem-solving and strong analytical skills
Be able and willing to travel and attend court hearings as required
