About the Role

We are seeking an experienced

Residential Conveyancing Lawyer with 3+ PQE

to join our busy and well-established property team. The successful candidate will handle a full caseload of residential property matters, provide expert legal advice, and deliver an excellent client experience. You will work autonomously while supporting the continued growth and reputation of the department.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a full and varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including: Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases Remortgages Transfers of equity New-build transactions Shared ownership matters Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, title documents, reports, and other property-related paperwork. Conduct all necessary due diligence, including reviewing searches, enquiries, and title investigations. Maintain regular communication with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors to ensure smooth progress of transactions. Identify and manage risks and ensure all compliance requirements are met. Supervise and mentor junior staff, paralegals, or conveyancing assistants where required. Contribute to business development by maintaining strong client relationships and supporting the firm's growth initiatives.

Requirements

Qualified solicitor, licensed conveyancer, or legal executive with

3+ years PQE

in residential conveyancing. Strong technical knowledge of conveyancing processes, Land Registry requirements, and lender panels. Proven experience managing a high-volume caseload with minimal supervision. Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Clear, professional, and client-friendly communication style. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.

Preferred Attributes

Experience with case management systems and digital conveyancing tools. A proactive, solution-focused approach to handling transactions. Strong commercial awareness and a commitment to outstanding client service.
