We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Newly Qualified Solicitor to join our dynamic Family Law team. This role offers the opportunity to undertake meaningful fee-earning work while contributing to the continued growth and success of the firm.
Main Purpose of the Role
Manage and progress a caseload of Family Law matters, including both private and Legal Aid cases.
Provide high-quality legal advice and representation from initial consultation through to court proceedings.
Support the firm's development by delivering excellent client care and contributing to departmental performance.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct legal matters on behalf of clients, focusing primarily on domestic abuse and children law cases.
Prepare and maintain case files to a high standard, ensuring compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements.
Attend and represent clients at court, providing advocacy where required.
Undertake work in additional areas of family law, including divorce, financial remedy matters, and care proceedings.
Participate in marketing and community engagement activities to promote the firm's services.
Requirements
Qualified Solicitor with experience in Family Law.
Essential experience in domestic abuse and children matters.
Ability to independently manage your own caseload with strong organisational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and client-care skills, with the ability to work sensitively with vulnerable clients.
Additional languages are highly advantageous due to the diverse client base we serve.
