We act for a loyal base of private and commercial clients and pride ourselves on delivering a high standard of service across our legal departments. As we continue to grow, we are now seeking a senior conveyancer to lead our Residential Property team.

The Role

We are looking to appoint an experienced

Residential Conveyancer

to take ownership of the department's strategic direction, manage a team of fee earners and support staff, and oversee the successful delivery of client work.

You will report directly to a Partner, manage your own caseload, and be responsible for generating new work and building strong referral relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and experienced conveyancer ready to step into a leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the Residential Conveyancing Department across both offices Supervise, support, and develop a team of fee earners and support staff Allocate work and manage departmental resources effectively Handle a varied caseload including Sales, Purchases, Re-mortgages, Transfers of Equity, Lease Extensions, and New Builds Support and develop referral relationships and generate new business Report to the Partner on team performance, case progress, and business development Maintain excellent standards of client care and compliance

The Ideal Candidate

Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer with

1-3 years' minimum PQE

in residential property Proven experience managing or supervising others Strong technical knowledge and ability to handle complex transactions Self-motivated, organised and commercially minded Comfortable with business development and building client/referrer relationships Approachable, professional and team-focused
