We are seeking a passionate team player to join our busy, friendly kitchen. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership qualities and be customer focused. As a Sous Chef, you will assist in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food for our guests

Responsibilities



Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen activities, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and food preparation Manage food production processes, maintaining quality control throughout all stages of cooking Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and hospitality standards Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements



Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management Comprehensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices Excellent leadership abilities with a passion for mentoring others Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
