Job Title: Sous Chef
Salary: From 36,000 pa - annualised hours at an average of 45 hours per week. Salary dependent upon experience.
Reports To: Head Chef

Key Responsibilities:
o Prepare, cook and present menus across a range of events
o Look after particular areas of the kitchen on rotation. Control and responsibility for service.
o Assist the Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef in development of new menu items and recipes
o Assist with managing and training junior kitchen staff
o Be aware of profit margins and keep waste to a minimum
o Comply with food hygiene and health & safety regulations and standards, including but not limited to, kitchen equipment, food preparation, allergens, COSHH and manual handling.
o Assist in ordering and receiving deliveries and ensure correct stock rotation
