Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications. Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are consistently met. Oversee kitchen operations and manage kitchen staff effectively in the absence of senior chefs. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to enhance their culinary skills. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times.

Summary

As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing food preparation and cooking, ensuring that all dishes meet high standards of quality and presentation. Reporting to the Head Chef, your core skills in culinary arts, food safety, and kitchen experience will be essential in maintaining a safe and efficient kitchen environment. Your premium skills in supervising and team management will enable you to lead kitchen staff effectively should that be required in the absence of senior chefs, fostering a collaborative atmosphere. With your relevant experience in restaurant operations, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking in a professional kitchen environment Strong culinary skills with a focus on food safety and hygiene Leadership abilities to manage kitchen staff and ensure smooth operations Supervisory experience in a restaurant or food production setting Excellent hospitality skills with a commitment to customer satisfaction Team management experience to foster a collaborative work environment
