Barnet Children's Integrated therapies Team is looking to recruit to the post of SPA Co-ordinator. This post is 5 days or 37.5 hours per week.
The role is to support the team in the delivery of the service to children and young people within Barnet. Main responsibility will be around Co-ordinating the Single Point of Access for Referrals as well as the Education Health and Care Plan process. The post holder will have previous experience of working in the provision of excellent customer care. Experience of working in an NHS environment including the maintenance of electronic records would be desirable.
You should have well-developed communication skills with patients and colleagues, and be able to provide an initial response to queries and concerns from patient and other services, as well as sign post / direct as appropriate. You will have good IT skills, be able to prioritise your work, be a team player, use your initiative and meet deadlines.

The Post holder will lead on the administrative process for SPA's, ensuring that the process and procedures are in place to meet targets and deadlines, systems are in place to support this process and communication channels are clear and concise between all areas.
The post holder will be responsible for the co-ordination of referrals into the Children's Integrated Therapy Service, and responsible for the administrative functions associated with processing referrals.
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring appropriate information is readily available to parents, young people, professionals and that this information is regularly updated.
The post holder will provide a responsive and efficient administrative service to meet the needs of the team.
The post holder will use their reason, intellect and judgement to work on their own initiative to deal with matters on behalf of their manager.
The post holder will be an effective decision maker, who is able to prioritise own workload whilst responding to interruptions.
The post holder will be able to deal with unpredictable work patterns and proactively deal with issues without reference to others
