About the Cornwall Hotel, Spa and Estate



Reborn on 8th March 2010 the Cornwall Hotel Spa & Estate is a historical 4-star manor house hotel, rejuvenating Clearing Spa and collection of stunning self-catering Woodland Lodges; all set on a beautiful 43-acre backdrop of parkland and a unique arboretum.

Guests in the hotel have the choice of standard, luxury or superior rooms, lodges and cottages. We have an extensive offering within our bar and brasserie serving food and drinks throughout the day.

The Clearing Spa has almost 200 local members with guests staying at The Cornwall receiving unlimited access to the spa as part of their stay. Facilities include a healthy juice bar, fitness suite, sauna, steam and infinity pool. In the summer months the doors slide open which creates a tranquil indoor/outdoor environment which showcases the panoramic landscape beyond.

General Duties



To ensure every guest has an uninterrupted experience from booking through to leaving the estate

A naturally engaging personality, welcoming and caring for guests throughout their visit, being one step ahead of their needs at all times.

To achieve a good working relationship with other departments, communicating information efficiently throughout the spa, hotel and estate

To ensure all complaints are kept to a minimum and handled professionally and calmly

To Ensure accuracy is achieved when dealing with billing systems, processing sales and accounting

Working as a team to enhance the guest journey

All other duties as required

Customer Care



Our guests have high expectations, which we strive to go above and beyond every single time, working hard to achieve a seamless guest journey from the moment they step into the spa.

Additional Information:



Experience of working in a similar role essential

Knowledge of Aromatherapy Associates products would be an advantage

Job Type: Zero Hour Contract

Salary: 12.50 per hour

Shifts will consist off - 06:30 - 14:30, 13:00 - 21:00 or 12:00- 20:00

Weekend work is essential
