We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Special Teaching Assistant to join our team. Our school provides specialist education for children and young people with Autism (ASD) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Every day, you will help create a safe, nurturing environment where students can grow in confidence, independence, and self-belief.

As an STA, you will work closely with teachers to support learning across the curriculum, help students engage positively in lessons, and promote social and emotional development. You will build trusting relationships, encourage resilience, and model the values that make our school community so special. The role may include some personal care and supervision during breaks and activities.

Experience working with children or young people is essential, ideally within a SEND setting. Most importantly, you will bring empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to helping every learner achieve their potential.
