A part time vacancy has arisen for an experienced mainstream teacher to our very successful Communication and Interaction Team (Autism), part of Nottinghamshire's SEND Inclusion Services.
The vacancy is to cover the current post holder for 12 months (September 2025 - August 2026) working with the Bassetlaw schools.
You would be using your knowledge, skills and experience to develop and deliver effective strategies/interventions aimed at improving outcomes for children and young people with complex communication difficulties associated with the Autism Spectrum in Key stages 2-5.
You would be working at a variety of levels, using positive and inclusive approaches to provide support and advice to school staff and liaising with parents.
Support from a team of dedicated specialist teaching assistants ensures that a flexibility of approaches can be offered.
As licence holders for the Autism Education Trust training programme you would have the opportunity to deliver a national training programme, as well as bespoke training packages.
We welcome applications from highly motivated, creative practitioners, who enjoy working in a collaborative, solution-focussed way from either a primary or secondary teaching background. You will be based with a very supportive team at Sherwood Energy Village, Ollerton. The post carries an authorised car user allowance.
