who is committed to helping every learner thrive - academically, socially, and emotionally.
This is more than just a support role. As a
Specialist Coach
, you will be a key part of our Inclusion and Support team - working directly with students and alongside teaching staff to create inclusive, engaging learning environments for all.
Specialist Coach - Key Responsibilities:
You will support students as they transition into college, throughout their studies, and as they prepare for their next steps - whether that's further education, training, or employment.
Working closely with curriculum teams, you will:
Provide
1:1 coaching
,
small group support
, and
in-class assistance
Champion inclusive learning practices and
tailor support
to meet a wide range of needs - including ASC, ADHD, SEMH, and communication difficulties
Monitor progress and adapt strategies to ensure learners develop resilience, independence, and confidence
Lead interventions in
English and Maths
, helping to close learning gaps and build core skills
Use specialist equipment and assistive technology to enhance access to learning
Work with staff to shape effective teaching strategies and exam access arrangements
Specialist Coach
- You:
You will be a proactive, empathetic professional with a deep understanding of inclusive education and learner development. You will have:
Experience
working with young people or adults with additional needs in an educational or support setting
A positive, flexible mindset and a commitment to helping every student succeed
Literacy and Numeracy at Level 2 (GCSE A-C)
A relevant
Level 3 qualification (or be willing to work towards one)
A collaborative spirit - ready to work closely with academic staff, support teams, and external partners
