Your job at Rijk Zwaan


As Specialist Sales Support within the UK team, you fulfill an essential role in managing planning and logistics, maintaining customer satisfaction, and supporting digital initiatives. You will work closely with the Sales team, the local finance team and Supply teams in the Netherlands. Additionally, you are responsible for:

Ensuring timely and accurate seed availability, stock control, and shipping to clients. Manage online assortment and stock in close co-operation with the Specialist E-commerce. Supporting the Sales team and customers with orders, pricing, and after-sales service. Support the manager by giving input for the Control Report and report to the Sales team and manager about progress of sales and gaps between budget and realization.

We develop vegetable and fruit varieties and sell the seeds to growers and other chain partners all over the world. We make an important contribution to the world food supply.



In the UK, you'll be part of a dynamic and collaborative team of 16, with 7 based in the office, that supports local and international clients, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional service. Our UK subsidiary combines a deep understanding of local market conditions with the global expertise of Rijk Zwaan's extensive network.

Your contribution


As Specialist Sales Support, you are committed to delivering a high service level and aligning your work with the ethical values of Rijk Zwaan. You enjoy taking initiative and are both client-focused and highly organized. You have an analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and thrive in a team-oriented, international environment.


In addition, we are looking for the following experience and education:

Degree level education. At least 3 years' relevant experience in sales support, planning, or logistics ideally within a complex organization. High level of Excel proficiency and familiarity with digital communication tools. Ability to analyze, interpret and communicate trends in data. Hands on attitude. Analytical skills. Team player. Enthusiastic about contributing to digital transformation. Interest in working in an international business setting. Customer service-oriented mindset with excellent organizational skills. Excellent in English. Physically fit, duties include cover of warehouse including use of a forklift (full training will be provided).

Other information

This is an on-site role, based at our office and warehouse situated on Pocklington Airfield Industrial Estate, YO42 1NR. Candidates must be able to commute to and from this location daily. An online assessment will form part of the interview process.
