Are you an excellent, caring and inclusive teaching assistant
, ready for the next step in your career development? We are looking for an experienced professional to work alongside the class teacher to co-create and run learning activities for children with a range of SEND needs. In the first instance this group will be within KS1 or the early years but this may change over time. You will have proven experience in using your own initiative to develop learning activities for children in your care and some experience in using assessment to plot development and plan new learning. You will be experienced with children from birth - 5 and have a good knowledge of how children develop and learn. You will work as part of a team, led by the Early Years Lead, within the Early Years environment. At times, you will lead learning in small groups in one of our two classrooms. You will have access to relevant training and support to succeed in this important role. This is a part time (Mon-Fri, 8:15 -15:15), permanent post at grade 8.
This role includes regulated activity relevant to children.
