Wandsworth Gymnastics

specialist Tumbling Coaches

to lead and develop our recreational and competitive tumbling sessions.

We are passionate about building strong foundations, excellent technique, and a love for gymnastics in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic

Tumbling Coach

to deliver progressive and engaging sessions for gymnasts of all levels - from beginner to advanced. You will work alongside our coaching team to help gymnasts develop safe, clean, and powerful tumbling passes, with a focus on correct technique, strength, and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver structured tumbling sessions for recreational and competitive gymnasts Focus on developing proper technique, power, and form across tumbling skills Prepare gymnasts for internal events, displays, and competitions Ensure a safe training environment through proper supervision and equipment use Adapt coaching methods to suit varying abilities and learning styles Maintain clear communication with gymnasts, parents, and coaching staff Contribute to the overall progression and success of the tumbling program

Requirements:

Level 2 (or above) Tumbling qualification (British Gymnastics, IGA, or equivalent) Strong knowledge of tumbling technique and physical preparation Experience coaching children and young people in a club or competitive setting Safeguarding and First Aid qualifications (or willingness to obtain) Reliable, motivated, and passionate about athlete development Excellent communication and teamwork skills
