0.4 FTE, 2 days per week, 8.45am - 3.15pm, 39 weeks per year

We are looking for an experienced and talented

Speech and Language Teaching Assistant

, who ideally has experience in Early Years and Speech and Language interventions. This a varied role which includes delivering a variety of high impact interventions to individuals and small groups of children in Early Years, KS1 and KS2.


The role entails being a therapy partner; working closely alongside both NHS and Private Speech and Language Therapy to best support our children. Experience and/or qualification and training in speech and language is preferred but not essential.

You will need to:

relish the challenge of supporting learning in an ambitious and diverse school work with dynamic, forward-thinking staff with high aspirations for our children be a teaching assistant who exemplifies outstanding classroom practice, behaviour, management and high expectations be committed to life-long learning and open to excellent CPD opportunities have good levels of English and Maths competence - GCSE C or equivalent and preferably a Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent have some experience, knowledge or expertise in Speech and Language interventions.
