This vital role is for someone who can offer comprehensive assistance to an individual living with

a rare Spinal Injury disease

, experiencing severe pain and significantly reduced mobility.

Key Responsibilities:

Full assistance with all domestic duties:

This includes cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy home environment.

Meal preparation:

Planning and cooking nutritious meals.

Daily living management:

Support with memory issues related to medication, including managing bills, invoices, and making follow-up calls.

Appointment support:

Accompanying the client to medical appointments, as she is currently reliant on elderly parents for transport.

About the Client:

Our client requires dedicated support to manage her daily life independently. She is also navigating the challenges of co-parenting a 25-year-old daughter with complex needs, therefore, a calm, resilient, and understanding approach is essential.

We are looking for someone who is:

Highly empathetic and patient:

Understanding of chronic pain, reduced mobility, and psychological distress.

Organised and reliable:

Capable of managing household tasks and administrative duties effectively.

Resilient and calm:

Able to navigate potentially challenging family dynamics with a professional and supportive demeanor.

Experienced in caregiving:

Preferably with experience supporting individuals with similar physical and psychological challenges.

A good communicator:

Able to build a trusting relationship and provide clear, consistent support.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 16.50 per hour
