Job summary



The Marketing Sponsorship Manager is responsible for developing, executing, and managing the company's sponsorship strategy to drive brand awareness, generate new business, and build lasting relationships with corporate partners. This role involves identifying potential sponsors, negotiating agreements, and overseeing the activation of all sponsorship benefits to ensure maximum return on investment (ROI).

Key responsibilities



Strategy and planning:

Develop comprehensive sponsorship strategies that align with overall marketing and business goals. Conduct market research to identify and evaluate potential sponsorship opportunities, from major events and sports teams to influencers and charities. Create tiered and customized sponsorship packages, proposals, and presentations to pitch to prospective partners.

Sales and negotiation:

Actively prospect and secure new sponsorship agreements, consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets. Negotiate all aspects of sponsorship contracts, including terms, deliverables, and financial arrangements, in collaboration with legal and finance teams. Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, actively managing opportunities from initial outreach to deal closure.

Activation and execution:

Act as the primary point of contact for all sponsors, ensuring a best-in-class experience and successful delivery of all contract obligations. Work cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., marketing, events, creative) to ensure seamless execution of all sponsorship activations and integrated campaigns. Oversee the effective use of sponsorship assets, such as digital branding, on-site event presence, and content collaborations.

Measurement and reporting:

Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and ROI of all sponsorship initiatives. Provide regular reports and post-event analysis to stakeholders, highlighting successes and providing data-driven recommendations for optimization.

Relationship management:

Cultivate and nurture strong, long-term relationships with sponsors to drive renewals, upsells, and new partnership opportunities. Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities to build and expand professional relationships.

Qualifications



Proven experience (e.g., 2-5 years) in sponsorship management, sales, business development, or a related field. A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Demonstrated track record of securing and managing successful sponsorship deals. Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong project management abilities, with a detail-oriented approach to execution. Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and experience using data analytics to measure performance. Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to identify unique partnership opportunities.

Pay: 50,000.00-60,000.00 per year
