Sky Blues in the Community (SBitC) are the official charity arm of Coventry City Football Club, based at the Coventry Building Society Arena. This puts us in a unique position to address local priorities and national issues, using the reach and appeal of Coventry City FC to transform the lives of people across Coventry and Warwickshire. Based on the needs of our local communities, we work in partnership to deliver high quality programmes that transform the lives of local people and leave a lasting impact.

The work of Sky Blues in the community is currently categorised under four core themes, each with their own headline goal.

Health and Wellbeing

- Promote, encourage and support healthy lifestyles and behaviours, empowering people to take control of their own health and wellbeing.

Sport

- Engage people of all ages and abilities in high quality sport and physical activity.

Inclusion

- Provide high quality opportunities for people and communities who face multiple inequalities and barriers to participation.

Education

- Inspire learning, and personal development to raise aspirations, attainment, achievement and employment.

Purpose of the role:



The post holder will plan, deliver, and evaluate sport and physical activity sessions to children, young people and adults across a variety of programmes from the four key themes of the organisation (sport, health, inclusion and education). The post holder will ensure all sessions are delivered to the highest possible standard by following the Sky Blues in the Community quality assurance framework.
