Mini Athletics South East London is looking for an enthusiastic Lead Coach to run our children's sports classes in the East Dulwich area If you're looking for a FUN Part Time Job working with children, we want you!
Mini Athletics delivers 4 progressive classes for children from walkers - 8 years old. They are introduced to basic athletic movement skills (running, jumping, throwing) in a play based yet structured format. Children are encouraged to develop athletic skills that are fundamental to their early physical development. In addition, the exercises build cognitive and social skills, preparing them for the early learning goals.
We're looking for an exciting and enthusiastic Coach to initially lead 2-3 hour Saturday morning sessions, plus any cover work on a weekday. There will be flexibility and scope to increase working hours for the successful candidate as we expand.
This is a great opportunity for someone who would like part time work in a rewarding job inspiring young children. Driving licence and own transport preferred.

The Role (in brief)
To follow and deliver Mini Athletics sessions in a fun and structured environment using equipment and apparatus provided.
To manage customer service, both inside and outside of sessions, including telephone calling/messaging and emailing participants and following up on trial sessions.

Qualifications and Skills
A coaching qualification and experience is preferable, it is not essential as full training will be provided.
An up to date Enhanced DBS and paediatric first aid certificate is essential although we can help you obtain this if required.
Administrative experience and excellent communication skills.
100% reliable and have a genuine desire to offer young children a positive introduction to sport.

Salary: 20.00 per hour plus the opportunity for a performance bonus.
