Surya Academy Ltd is a leading provider of sports and enrichment programmes across London. We work in partnership with local schools to deliver high-quality physical education, breakfast and after-school clubs, and targeted support for pupils with additional needs.

About the Role

We are looking for a

motivated and reliable male sports coach

to join our team in Brent.
This is a full-time, term-time only position combining both sports delivery and 1:1 classroom support for a pupil with special educational needs.

Working hours:

Breakfast Club:

7:45 - 8:30 AM (Sports activities at school)

School Day:

8:30 AM - 3:00 PM (1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant support)

After School Club:

3:30 - 4:30 PM (Sports club at another local school, less than 1 mile away)

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and inclusive sports sessions for primary-aged children before and after school. Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs during the school day. Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure the pupil's learning and wellbeing needs are met. Encourage participation, teamwork, and positive behaviour. Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all children.

Requirements

Enhanced DBS

Proven experience working with children in a

primary school

setting Strong communication and teamwork skills Passion for sports, physical activity, and child development Punctual, dependable, and professional approach
