energetic, passionate and professional Sports Coach
to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong and experienced background in the sports coaching of primary aged children. There is an opportunity for work 4-5 sessions a week.
This role involves delivering a variety of sports including basketball & unihoc, enhancing skills, and fostering a positive sporting environment that encourages teamwork and personal growth. Session planning will be fully supported.
Sessions take place straight after school as part of an extensive extra-curricular programme.
Duties
Deliver a well planned session (3.30pm-4.30pm), that will engage and motivate young children
Foster a supportive and motivating atmosphere that encourages participation and enjoyment of the sport.
Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure a safe training environment.
Communicate effectively with Lead Coach, parents, and other stakeholders regarding progress and development.
Qualifications
Proven experience in multi- sports coaching or a related field is essential.
DBS certification-essential and can be organised
First Aid- essential and can be organised
Safeguarding Training- essential and can be organised
Level 1 in any sport as a minimum
Experience working with young children
Good behaviour management skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and inspire others.
