Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Sports Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate children of all ages and skill levels. This role involves detailed lesson planning, class control & excellent lesson delivery through robust communication & the ability to form relationships.

Duties

Design and implement lesson plans that are tailored to the age of the class & the ability of the individuals. Monitor the children's progress and adjust lesson plans as necessary to ensure optimal development. Organise and lead competitive events, ensuring all participants understand the rules and expectations. Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages all pupils to be involved & have the best chance at development. Communicate effectively with all pupils & teachers, creating strong, long lasting relationships. Have a excellent understanding on controlling a full class & understand different management techniques.

Qualifications

Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching is essential. Strong knowledge of the PE curriculum being taught, including rules, strategies, and techniques. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with children of varying ages. Ability to motivate and inspire others while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Coaching qualification at College level as a minimum.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 20.00-25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
