Sports Coach

to join their supportive and high-performing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual who thrives on encouraging physical activity and building confidence in children through sport.

About the Role

This is a varied role that combines in-class support with delivering high-quality PE lessons and extracurricular activities. The successful candidate will:

Deliver engaging and inclusive sports lessons to whole classes across the school. Plan and lead after-school sports clubs and accompany pupils to sporting events outside of school hours. Provide small group and one-to-one interventions, including supporting children with additional needs. Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to ensure all pupils are engaged and able to participate in physical education. Contribute to creating a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment for all children.
What We're Looking For

We are seeking someone who:

Has experience delivering PE lessons in a school setting. Believes in inclusion for all and can implement appropriate strategies to support individual needs. Uses positive behaviour management to motivate and inspire children to enjoy sports and physical education. Is confident working with children with a range of needs and can adapt activities to support their development. Can work collaboratively within a team while also using their initiative and taking responsibility. Is well-organised and capable of planning and delivering effective, tailored lessons. Has excellent communication skills and builds strong relationships with staff, pupils, and families.
