upbeat and has an empathetic and compassionate approach to working with and supporting children. A lead coach leads from the front and is a great role model for children and their support staff. You work well under pressure and in times of crisis, you make sound decisions and have the well being of the children and your support staff at the forefront of your mind. You will be a competent communicator and you will engage with staff and parents on a regular basis. Ensuring that professional boundaries are always adhered to.
Key responsibilities of your role
Plan and deliver activities to your target group
Ensure your support staff are aware of the session and the preferred outcomes
Ensure all equipment is suitable for the sessions
Ensure all children are kept safe
Ensure children are having fun and sessions are inclusive
Ensure all policies are adhered to and all necessary paperwork is complete
Report all incidents to the manager and to complete relevant paperwork

- Ensure safe working practice
- Undertake relevant safeguarding qualifications & training
Strong background in sports coaching
Experience in teaching and mentoring individuals or teams
Knowledge of various sports techniques and training methods
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to motivate and inspire Children
Certification in sports coaching
