FIFTH Movement works with schools across Greater Manchester to make movement a bigger, better part of the school day. Whether it's curriculum PE, or after-school sessions, we help schools deliver physical activity that's consistent, purposeful and actually works for their setting.
We're looking for a Sports Coach to join our team, to be based in one of our partner schools in Chadderton during term time. You'll be a key part of the school week, not just passing through, where you'll have the space to deliver sessions properly, build relationships, and do the job well.
You'll lead the delivery of the PE curriculum across the school, supporting children across all year groups. You'll be based on-site Monday to Friday, managing your own sessions and contributing to the wider activity provision within the school day.
This is a fixed-term role that runs during school term time only, no evenings or weekends required.
Key responsibilities
Deliver PE lessons across all age groups in line with the national curriculum
Communicate regularly with the school team and FIFTH Movement HQ
Ensure all activity is safe, inclusive, and well-structured
Build consistent relationships with children and staff
Represent FIFTH Movement's values through your day-to-day work
What you need to have
Two or more NGB Level 2 coaching qualifications (multi-sports, football, gymnastics, etc.)
A full UK driving licence and your own transport
An up to date First Aid certificate
Valid safeguarding training
Experience working with children or in school environments
Confidence managing a class independently
FIFTH Movement exists to create healthier, happier futures for children. We partner with schools to deliver PE lessons, extra-curricular clubs, and holiday camps that works in the real world. We're known for being professional, reliable, and child-centred and we're growing fast.
